This 8 hour course will give you the tools to successfully provide dementia care in the long term care setting. Administrators, Social Workers, Activity Directors and managers will gain knowledge in implementing a strong dementia care program to meet the needs of the elderly we serve in nursing homes, assisted livings, adult day cares and home health settings.
Additionally, this course is required for those seeking certification as a Certified Dementia Practitioner by the National Council of Certified Dementia Practitioners
